Time Marches On

We have a beginning, a journey and then an end. Everything does, including our Earth and our Sun. We must enjoy each day of our journey as we don’t know how long it will last. Queen Elizabeth II lived for 96 years and her reign as Queen lasted 70 years. It never came to an end to the many that were born during and died before it ended. But it did eventually end, time will March on. We think our marriage will last forever, mine lasted 38 years but came to an end. I love tennis, my son was a pro on the ATP tour and for many years Nadal, Federer, Jocovich ruled the tennis world, they are not on the top anymore being replaced by younger and younger athletes.

We thought the Covid Pandemic was going to be around forever but it seems that it never existed in some places, a commoner kissed the King of England, what happened to social distancing? In the tens of thousands on the crowds in England I never saw a masked person I hope to never see a face mask and one day hopefully this will occur. I have seen many of my companies, projects and charities come and go. Nothing lasts forever. We must enjoy life each day if not minute by minute. Time marches on.

I also believe we should not spend our days thinking of the past or the future. This action takes away from experiencing and enjoying our day. Time is our worst enemy, they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer, keep time close to you by respecting it and enjoy every minute because it keeps marching on.
