Ask students how they were affected and felt by the last lesson, Be KIND to yourself. Ask how they are doing it Ask students to take out pencil and paper to take notes on new words and questions they may have.
Ask them to write:
Commitment #2
BE KIND TO OTHERS
Here are the bullet points, use our example and/or add your personal thoughts and experiences.
1. OPEN DOORS FOR STRANGERS.
Some people may not thank you but it is a very kind person that takes the time to help others.
2.NEVER ARGUE, FIGHT OR BULLY
Arguing never leads to anything positive. Fighting can lead to an injury that could put you in jail for life. Bullying is a horrible act done by weak, insecure and unkind people.
3.LET PEOPLE IN LINE.
Most people will only do a kind thing if they know their is a reward. Here is a great example. You are on your way to a job interview, you must be on time, in traffic someone on your right wants to be let in, you don’t which makes you and the other person feel bad. At the interview the person interviewing you is the driver you were not kind to. Ask yourself how he feels about you. Had you known it was him you would certainly have let him in as there may have been a reward to your action.
Now, as a kind person and knowing letting the car into traffic only delays you five seconds you let the person in, you feel great as they do. Now you get to the interview, what do you think that person thinks of you now? Kindness has many rewards, we don’t always see it in front of us.
4. DON’T EAT ENDANGERED SPECIES.
People eat creatures that once gone future generations can’t enjoy. Thousands of species die off each year.
5. DON’T BUY GOODS MAPE FROM ENDANGERED SPECIES.
They kill elephants for Ivory jewelry and office ornaments. They kill animals for their Leather, they destroy rare exotic trees for wood furniture. Ask yourself is this kind.
6. PRACTICE RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS.
It takes time and energy Mna, to Be kind to strangers or pick up litter but you will see the Fantastic feeling it will give you.
7. PONATE SOME OF YOUR TIME.
Put aside a little time for others even a few minutes can make a difference.
8. SHARE.
Sharing what you have with others is Fantastic, it could be your time, something you don’t need anymore or money to someone in need.
9.LISTEN TO OTHERS.
There is a saying that a wise person listens. When you truly listen to someone it is a very kind action.
10. SAY KIND WORDS.
Always say kind words. Words affect water, we are 70% water. Kyoto water study proved that harse words distort the water molecules and kind words show the Crystal’s beautiful shape. Use please , thank you, you’re welcome, I love you and may I help you.
We are humans and must use language in a kind manner. The kindest word is Fantastic. Saying the word Fantastic spreads energy, kindness, positivity and love. Say Have a Fantastic day, You did a Fantastic job, You look Fantastic and say I am Fantastic when asked how you are. It is an act of kindness to say the word. It forces everyone to smile which releases stress and makes you live longer.
11. DON’T BE PREJUPICEP.
Prejudice is defined as: Preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Not a smart character trait.
12. BE FRIENDLY
Shake hands, hug others and look into their eyes. We are social creatures, we need to have physical and emotional contact. Hugs are a true act of kindness, shaking hands a wonderful greeting and eye contact essential to great communication.

E.G. for and commitment a flash card says “losers” then someone must say“ bullies are losers“ Teacher add more activities. Children can draw, paint or create all things included and mentioned in the explanation of the Philosophy and make or draw the right and the bad scenarios including kindness, pollution and bullying. Assessments : Comprehension. Print reading material about the Philosophy and let them read and answer questions that you create. Be fantastic Composition / Essay / Poem: Give them topics or let them think of one and write about it even if it’s an imaginary story.
We would love to receive the essays and poems. No competition. Be kind to them. Every piece of work matters and shows the child thought of something. Positive reinforcement akways. All children are different and equally important and special. Just as commitment number two says , Be kind to others…. Students will do a spelling check with all the words used in the rally call and commitments. Please note that we did not say test, but check, this is a kindness Class and we teach kindness and kind words without competition.
Assessments shall be a mixture of oral and written work. They shall have a Comprehension check where the educator writes out sentences from the Philosophy or reasons for being kind, for not bullying, for not polluting and not littering and leaves blanks where students can fill in. Children will be asked to write down or say the Fantastic Rally call or the three commitments as an assessment.
Declarative knowledge: Students should be taught that when people are kind to each other they live longer. Smiling adds to life. When people are bullies they are not kind. When we litter and pollute we harm the planet and our environment and that also hurts us and make our lives difficult.
Procedural knowledge: Students should go out on educational trips to see polluted and unpolluted places. They will become aware of pollution and littering as they move around.
They will be aware of what bullying and unkindness is and be able to identify them in their day-to-day lives and experiences. They will create , draw, sing and paint all scenarios of what they are learning. Schematic knowledge: Pollution causes damage to our planet. Unkindness makes you and others unhappy. Bullying is for losers and unkind people and is not cool. Concerns / Comments / Important points : We are concerned about the language the students will use. Explanations can be done in their language but all words to be defined in English according to the English dictionary. Fantastic Rally Call and the three commitments can be repeated in English or your language. We are concerned about the way the Fantastic Rally Call is performed. There must be action and body language and the students must be standing up. Teachers please think of Fantastic actions.
They definitely have to face each other and look in each other’s eye when they say YOU ARE FANTASTIC Actions are vital in young age groups as this will help the Philosophy stick in their minds. It has to be a lifestyle commitment going forward, they are our future. BE creative with older students and adults. This curriculum works for everyone. Teachers implement more complex activities for young adults or High school students Need help? Please reach out to Dr. Fantastic +201090796903.
Connecting:Teachers must create an environment where children can be able to synthesize and relate to this Philosophy. E.G.
- Take a trip to a beach or river etc. where students can identify pollution and take action.
- Take a trip to the industrial areas to identify pollution and take action.
- Look around on your streets, identify pollution and take action.
- . At home , Reuse and save anything and everything. Identify products you can use less of etc. Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see. Mark Twain.
Take action here means spread the Philosophy wherever you go, Shout the Fantastic Rally Call on your educational trips and pick up litter as as a group.
